The approximately 240 islands and reefs off Sibenik are a small paradise for sailors and yachtsmen. Among the most beautiful destinations are the island of Zlarin and the island of Krapanj. Sibenik is the venue for concerts, trade fairs, sporting and cultural events throughout the year. The music evenings in the summer months, with traditional klapas and the "International Children's Festival" (information at www.mdf-si.org) are very popular. Sibenik's nightlife offers many opportunities for night owls. The Dolac district in particular is lined with cafés, cocktail bars and lounges.
